Katherine Moyer, Certified PSYCH-K® Instructor, shares her story

PSYCH-K® “magically” appeared in my life in 2002.

After a childhood with seven divorces, twelvish schools, countless addresses, a few homeless opportunities in my late teens, more jobs than I could possibly count, a short marriage followed by a divorce of my own, as well as some healthy doses of drama and chaos, something needed to change!

At twenty-nine, I loaded my car with the essentials and headed for Dallas, Texas! I’d never been there before, didn’t know anyone there, and had no job waiting for me when I arrived. Some might call that brave or gutsy; but for me, it simply felt like survival. My current reality just wasn’t an option any longer. It was obvious if I wanted BIG changes, I had to take BIG actions.

Packing up and moving 1300 miles away from the old environment and everyone I knew was huge first step, but wasn’t the magical fix I was hoping for. Within a few months I was recreating familiar drama with different names and faces. There it was! The blinding yet painful flash of the obvious … there is only one common denominator here. Everywhere I go, there I AM! 😬 And THAT is where changing anything BEGINS.

“Seven-years-in” to creating a new life in Texas, Bruce Lipton sprung on my radar with his newly released VHS tape “Biology of Perception/Psychology of Change”. Watching just the last 30 minutes of his presentation my mind was sufficiently blown! I ordered five copies as soon as possible for a closer look and to share with some friends.

Half way into the second presenter on the video (Rob Williams) I was on the computer looking for a workshop. I knew this was EXACTLY what I needed.

I took a week’s vacation from my corporate job and completed both the Basic and Advanced PSYCH-K® workshops in seven days. When I reported back to work on Monday morning, EVERYONE noticed something was DIFFERENT.

When I left that week for vacation, I was on a short-list of employees to be terminated (you know, those old patterns were creeping back up). When I got back from that week, crazy things started happening that really blew my mind. I was promoted twice within six months! The Universe created an opportunity (of course, that’s not what it felt like in the moment) to discover my gift and niche for training and I quickly became a trainer of trainers. My supervisor and even the head of the entire department attended the Basic and Advanced PSYCH-K® workshops because they couldn’t believe my changes in just one, short week. Apparently, I returned to work a version of myself even I didn’t know was “in there”!

Within eleven months I was certified to teach PSYCH-K® and the most incredible adventures continues today!

So, what’s life like now, 20 years after that week? WOW, what a ride!

Life is more amazing than I ever imagined. Countless gifts including 25 years now with my nurturing and supportive husband Andy, who loves being in the workshops witnessing and supporting the beautiful souls called to learn this work. I was able to retire in 2009 from that Fortune 150 Company at 45 years old. I appreciate all aspects of my humanness and can laugh at myself. To be peaceful throughout the ongoing worldwide chaos, including the transitioning of multiple friends and family is a precious gift. Living with a deep knowing that EVERYTHING in life is happening FOR me, not TO me is probably the biggest gift of all.

The filters and interpretations from my early years left me with layers of illusions that blocked me from peace, joy, love and all things good in life. PSYCH-K® has been a priceless tool supporting myself in recognizing my value, worth and divinity are INTRINSIC! And, I HAVE all the internal resources and capacity to create a purposeful life while embracing my personal evolution along the way.

I am eternally grateful for each step I’ve taken on this journey. Grateful I listened to that deep inner calling. Grateful I didn’t let FEAR or my conscious mind take me OUT. Grateful the path continues to reveal itself as I make my way. Grateful for the opportunity so many “gift me” in witnessing and participating in this part of THEIR amazing journey …

It’s never too late for change. A journey of a thousand miles starts with ONE decision. ONE meaningful step towards something different can change everything!

I hope we get to meet soon!
