Becky McLoughlin, PSYCH-K® Facilitator, shares her story

PSYCH-K® is the Catalyst for the Life I get to live…

Like so many who share their story, my life changed with the practice of the process of PSYCH-K®. When I was introduced to PSYCH- K® in 2009, I had just left a relationship that was not fulfilling, my bodywork practice was slow due to the recession in the United States, I couldn’t find a place to land and root. So, instead of trying to make ends meet I decided to fulfill a heart dream and travel. The balance I remember the most was a statement, “I embrace my backwards Becky nature.” This statement freed up years of judgement that the way my path presented was somehow wrong! I finally was able to breath and lean into the true nature of my being, things tend to be presented backwards for me. For example, I learned how to play the clarinet with my hands switched. The way we found out I was playing ‘backwards’ was my pinky couldn’t reach the low notes! This is only one story of many where the nickname “Backwards Becky” really was a perfect name.

When I returned from the travels in 2010, I found our local instructor and quickly signed up for the Basic Workshop. The tools quickly became part of my daily practice. I started finding peace within my heart. An Advanced Instructor was visiting only a few months later and I knew my PSYCH- K® journey had officially begun. During that first Advanced workshop, I was able to come to a place of peace and non-attachment with a person I had a visceral reaction to anytime I thought of them for over 20 years!

Fast forward, in 2015, my mom was diagnosed with cancer, our first child was born in an emergency setting with a heart condition that would need a heart surgery, the company my husband was working with closed down, and I know in my bones, what got me through, was the process of PSYCH- K®. I was able to quickly transform the perception of stress, remembering to ask, ‘What would I rather?’ when I was afraid, and to quickly balance statements that supported what I did want to believe. I was able to lean into tools and memories given from a Divine Integration Retreat as well as from the Health and Wellbeing Program I first attended in 2013. I still had fear, I still had grief, life was still happening, AND I had ways to remember that I was being held by a loving presence. I also reached out to Instructors for support and received their loving care and support when I couldn’t seem to stand on my own.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of supporting others with their journeys as well. From helping someone transform messages from debilitating allergies to someone who has an extreme fear of flying. Supporting couples who are about to share their wedding vows with the Relationship Balance, supporting women who are wanting to conceive and be mothers, facilitating balances with people who have experienced traumas, and those who feel blocked from their life purpose. The success stories both personal and professional could be pages long, the bottom line, the PSYCH- K® process has changed many lives, my life included.

What I enjoy the most about being a PSYCH- K® Facilitator is knowing that when life feels overwhelming and helpless, there is hope. We can be empowered by the hardest parts of our lives as we transform the stress, receive the lessons, and step into the strength of our experiences. The process of PSYCH- K® has transformed my life… I have re-membered, I am ONE and I am connected with ALL.
