In 1986, I started my adult life as an Aerospace Engineer working in hypersonic research in the defense industry. I received my B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland and my M.S. in Aerospace Engineering, specializing in Computational Fluid Dynamics from the University of Texas at Arlington. I worked in hypersonic research and Computational Fluid Dynamics for 8½ years before deciding to stay home with my (then 1 year old) daughter. During my time working in that industry, I developed new ways to analyze and solve complex problems. My team and I were given a leadership position over much more experienced individuals from other companies we were partnered with because we were willing to look outside the box and develop better analysis techniques.
After leaving to stay home with my kids, my focus changed dramatically, but what I learned as an engineer helped in everything I have done since. When my daughter started to develop allergies, I started researching natural ways of dealing with them rather than putting her on prescription medications. That was my first dive into the area of natural healing. For years I researched diet and supplementation as ways of improving my health and the health of my family.
In 2012, when my Dad was diagnosed with inoperable pancreatic and liver cancer with only months to live, he chose a holistic path to healing involving mainly dietary changes and supplementation. It was not an easy road as his body was healing, but he was able to play golf, travel, and basically live his life for the next 2 years.
In 2014, my Brother passed away suddenly, and 3 months later my Dad passed away suddenly. This was the series of events that led me from casually researching natural healing to actually getting my HHP Certification and becoming a PSYCH-K® Facilitator. I realized that there was more to natural healing than just diet, exercise and supplementation. I learned about how much the thoughts and emotions of the individual affect the health and healing potential of the individual. In other words, the state of the body is a direct reflection of the environment the body is in - this environment being made up of the air, food, water, thoughts and emotions the person is experiencing - with the thoughts and emotions being the most important. Stress is a normal part of life, but when we hold on to things like anger and resentment, it's like "drinking poison hoping to hurt the other guy." ~Duccio Locati
For my PSYCH-K® training, I have taken the Basic, Advanced, Pro and Health and Wellbeing Workshops. PSYCH-K® has changed my life and the lives of my clients. I absolutely love working in this field and being able to support people on their self-healing journeys.
It is my hope to be able to help people to heal themselves naturally and to understand the power they have in making that happen.
I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and work with people in person if it is convenient for them to get to me. I also hold sessions over the phone and via SKYPE or ZOOM.
