Are you frustrated with repeating the same patterns over and over again? Maybe you start each week with the best intentions to finally do things differently - save more money, skip more desserts, have stronger relationship boundaries, only to repeat the same unwanted habits midway through the week. Then you fall into a spiral of self-criticism, guilt, bitterness and shame for not being strong, determined or successful enough to change. I repeated this same cycle too for over 40 frustrating years and it is a maddening way to live.

Why do we do this?

The brain is wired for survival, not optimization. When a thought or behavior keeps you safe - aka alive, the brain categorizes it as a 'win' and then this thought or behavior gets filed on a neural loop to be automated and repeated much like breathing and walking.

The brain's default is wonderful for survival but not so much for improvement or progress.

Why is change so hard?

Short answer: It doesn't have to be. But it feels hard at this point because you really only truly want change with your conscious mind - the part that controls abstract thinking and that can see and desire a better way. The conscious also governs willpower and discipline, however, the challenge is that the conscious mind is only responsible for about 5% of our thoughts and behavior.

The subconscious governs 95% of our thoughts and behaviors and is responsible for things like habits, addictions, nervous system regulation, beliefs, emotions & self-perception. We can want change with all of our 5% conscious mind, but until the 95% subconscious also wants the change and believes it's SAFE to do so, we experience life at a discouragingly glacial pace equivalent to driving with one foot on the brake and one on the gas. Getting both the conscious and the subconscious moving in the same direction towards the same goal is where TRUE CHANGE takes place and I've designed a method to do just that.

My method is RESULTS-FOCUSED with the defined deliverables of:

1) processing & clearing trauma once and for all

2) creating new beliefs and behaviors that support your current desires and goals

2) optimizing your life using your natural strengths and talents so that you can

4) step into your most empowered, vibrant, successful, confident life.

True transformation and optimization are quite possible if we know how to speak the language of the subconscious mind. I incorporate the latest neuroscience-based applications which help identify implicit and explicit memories, making subconscious integration and change effective, fast and simple.

My primary modality is PSYCH-K® and I'm a qualified facilitator having completed the Advanced Integration, Master Facilitator and Health & Wellbeing programs.

I have a Positive Psychology specialization from the University of Pennsylvania and hold post-graduate certificates in The Science of Wellbeing and Social Psychology from Yale University.

A lifelong learner, I'm also an Internal Family Systems practitioner, a trauma-informed holistic life coach, registered 200-hour Yoga Teacher, and Certified Shame-Informed Treatment Therapist.

My 19 year background in civil engineering predisposes me to find root-cause solutions that are safe and that work at the deepest level. These principles extend into the Salt & Starlight method through the use of proven conscious (salt) & subconscious (starlight) tools and interventions.

I'm based in Jupiter, Florida and offer limited in-person sessions for existing clients in Palm Beach, FL and St. Simon's Island, GA and surrounding areas, however - thanks to modern technology, I'm able to work with people all over the globe!
