I was born in Akron, Ohio in December of 1991. The first half of my childhood was very typical ‘Catholic white family of four in the suburbs.’ Then, my mom became an early adopter in the US reiki and yoga space, so the second half of my childhood became all about mindfulness, universal co-creation, and quantum healing. Growing up with both of these perspectives introduced me to the many faces of god early on in my life.
My childhood dream was to move to New York City, and I achieved this dream when I was 21. I wanted to work in the fashion industry, so I moved to the city with no friends and no job. I got my first fashion job on Craigslist, and worked my way up from there. I worked hard. I worked long hours. I traveled. I met with top people at designer brands. I thought this was happiness and success. Years passed and every day that I walked down 6th Avenue to work my heart raced faster and faster. Tears would fall down my face as I walked to my office. After five years I knew it was time to leave.
I listened to my intuition and moved. Things got worse. I had been wearing the city like my shell. My personality had become “I live in New York,” and I had no idea who I was. My body was in shock and my health spiraled out of control. Going to the grocery store left me feeling like I had run a marathon. My face was covered in cystic acne, I gained 20 pounds in one month, and I had night sweats. I felt trapped in a body that was unfamiliar to me.
I moved to the beach, and my physical body began to balance out. I returned to the yoga practice of my childhood, and got a job in a new industry. I was out in the world again traveling, and meeting new people, but this time I knew it wasn’t enough. I needed to open my heart to my own spiritual being. The minute I heard about PSYCH-K® I knew it was the next breadcrumb on my path. The subconscious work I’ve been able to do through PSYCH-K® has completely transformed my life, and I am excited to share this work with others.
